Dusk and Summer.

I've been sick all week... Always a good time. Laying in bed all day long, or laying on the floor at the shop for hours on end. The whole camp got the stomach flu, and I got the effects after I got home. Never did I feel so lethargic in my life. I lost quite a few pounds.

The weather has been great. I am so happy to be able to walk outside and feel the sun on my shoulders again. All week I've been wearing sweaters... and wrapping big fleece blankets around me while sitting in the sun still shivering.

I need a beach day. I am making the three days when I get back from Gainsville beach days. If you would like to join me, leave a message, call the house, e-mail. I'm ready to have summer. I feel like such an adult this year, I finally got to hang out with my best friend last night for the first time all summer. Work has overloaded me once again, and I feel as though I'm going to enter my senior year with the all the weight I left Jr. year with. Not having a moment to breath in between. I cannot wait for my birthday, its almost seems like the only valid excuse to take a break. I will spend the whole day doing what I please. Maybe just driving around thinking, stoping at the beach for a quick surf, grabbing a burrito. Just breathing.

I finished (and started) a painting today at the shop. There were horrific amounts of rain so therefor it was slow as if that is any excuse I suppose. I paint a lot when I'm there... I started the other rocking chair as well. Painting is something that mellows me out... I'm not good at it, it just keeps me concentrated on one thing, and I focuse I don't think about anything else. I'm at peace, just like when I'm at the beach. Or when I find a good mellow C.D.

UF is sunday. Hopefully I'll get to see a lot of the campus. Hopefully the drive isn't to bad.
I just hope that it is relaxing most of all.
