Nicknames

I have been thinking about all the nicknames people have given me... Isn't it interesting how much you can tell about a person from their nicknames. Or how much mystery will follow.

Here are a fewww of mine, Enjoy!!

BEKA: Given to me by my family, has no meaning... Just a shortened version of my full name. Which is Rebekah

BEKS: A shortened version of Beka hahaha, lots of people call me Beks. It reminds me of Beck's Beer. lol

CRAZY GIRL IN A CANOE: I was deemed crazy girl in a canoe in 9th grade at summer camp. It is a funny story... I was canoeing with Adrian and several other people were out there canoeing with us, and we were having a blast. Esp Adrian and I because we lovvvve to canoe. Well Mike and David started splashing Adrian and I... & I was blowing up because we had just gotten a shower, we were dry and smelled nice for the first time in a long time (at the time). So we started splashing them to get back at them and they just got crazy so she and I went on the crazy canoe chase, chasing them ALL over this River. After about half an hour of so of this chaotic wild goose chase we finnally caught up with them, and I jumped in their canoe and shook it (my whole 100 pound body at the time) and I tipped it over and all three of us fell into the river, and then we tipped Adrian out of our canoe and we all had to use our canoe skills to get our canoes back right-side-up. Everyone loved what I did, and so they gave me the nickname, and I have to say its one of my favorites. Fo Sho. :)

PISTOL: Grandpa Compton gave me this nickname because he said: " she is smart as a pistol". & because I asked for this pistol to be left to me in their will.

BOOSILLY: My dad gave me this nickname, and I think it was because he would scare me like come up behind me and I would freak out and then start cracking up for ten minutes straight. :D

GUPPY: Michelle and I call eachother guppy because we love the guppy fish on 'The Little Mermaid', and because its such a funny word... I mean comeon guppy?!

What are some of your nicknames? Anything interesting, out of the Ordinary?

Easter was nice. Lots of family over, good food, nice weather.

Life is really good for me right now. Negative on the fact that I have been so tired like pass out tired. I fell asleep on the couch at the shop... Fell asleep on the way home from the shop... Got home and laid down and fell asleep... Went to bed and did't get up until 140 this morning. My body is shutting down on me, but other than that. i am A-OK! :)

Life is good.

I just got done reading 'Someone Like You' my favorite book. Everytime i read it without fail I cry. It makes me so grateful for my best friend. I do not know what I would do in the position the girl in the book is put in. She is 16 "falls in love" that summer, has sex with the boy, the next day he is killed in a motorcycle accident. She later finds out she is pregnant. He is gone, she feels alone... But she has her best friend. She helps her through it. The best friend then falls in love with the boy who dieds best friend. The girl has so much to go through there are very few people who I would be that comfortable with enough to even let them know I was pregnant, let alone be the first person I told. The girls mother is signing her up for an Abortion the day after she finds out her daughter is expecting. She goes, but has her mother leave her, and then calls her best friend to ask her to come pick her up because she just can't go through with it. Her mother had her out of 'wed-lock' and she is sitting there thinking what if she didn't want me, I wouldn't even be here. She chose to keep the baby. It is by far the best book I've ever read. I am forever grateful for my best friend, because I know if She or myself were ever in that magnitude of a position we could confide in eachother and be able to reassure eachother everything in the end would be alright.

SHOW YOU MY LOVE.
